It’s been a Good news-Bad news State budget for Queenslanders.

Delivering her first economic blueprint Treasurer, Jackie Trad, has been able to post a better than expected operating surplus thanks to increased royalties from stronger commodity prices.

But the state’s debt though continues to climb and you’ve been hit with a range of new and increased taxes.

Ben spoke to the Treasurer shortly after presenting her budget to the parliament.
