‘Trust your instincts’: Take control of your personal security and safety

With the terrorist attack in New Orleans yesterday and the Tesla Cybertruck bombing in Las Vegas — it’s been a dire start to 2025 for the US and while the Pacific Ocean might separate us, when stories like this are dominating the headlines, it’s normal to start worrying about your own safety when you’re out and about.

But it’s important not to let it stop us living our lives — be alert, but don’t be alarmed.

Security expert and founder of Nepean Regional Security, Gina Field told Dean Miller on 4BC Summer Breakfast, “Stay aware, know your exit strategies, and If you feel something is not right or you see something is not right, report your concerns.”
