‘Very excited’: Rosies unveils new fleet van thanks to partnership with Ostelin

Local charity, Rosies Friends on the Street raises awareness of issues affecting vulnerable women across the state.

Thanks to a partnership with Queensland-based women’s health brand Ostelin, Rosies has been able to add a new van to their fleet, which was unveiled this morning.

Long-time Rosies volunteer Cathy Barber told Bill McDonald on 4BC Mornings, ” [Rosies] gives them someone, a friendly face and a friendly conversation to have with as well.”

“Because we’ve got a lot of women on our volunteers as well, they’ve got another woman to talk to. And I think that’s helping them just find that, little bit of peace too, knowing that they can sit down and talk to someone.”
