“Where is Peng Shuai?” shirts stir controversy at Aus Open

Last week, a number of spectators were pulled up by police for wearing “Where is Peng Shuai?” shirts inside Melbourne Park for the tennis.

It’s a protest started by senate nominee Drew Pavlou to raise awareness about the whereabouts of the missing Chinese tennis star Peng Shuai.

Fast forward to this weekend and Drew and his team hit back by handing out a further 1,000 shirts and yellow ribbons for the cause.

But there was a catch… the broadcasters were instructed not to show them.
