Police chase new leads as murder of John Lazzaro is linked to bikie gangs
New information has come to light about the execution-style killing of a Brisbane father 10 years ago.
John Lazzaro was shot multiple times just before 11pm on April 11, 2012 by two masked men in his Roachdale South home, in front of his teenage daughter.
Police say the 56-year-old’s death is linked to the Bandidos Outlaw Motorcycle Gang.
Detectives have also recovered the unregistered gun used that night, which is helping them chase up new leads.
With help from the NSW Police Force, a search warrant was executed at a NSW address on June 9, where a 45-year-old man was questioned.
A $500,000 reward remains on offer for any information leading to the arrest of a person responsible for Mr Lazzaro’s murder.
