Neil Breen is questioning why Queensland’s Chief Health Officer attended a ‘PR stunt’ at Wellcamp Airport.

The Palaszczuk government yesterday announced a purpose-built quarantine facility is being built at Toowoomba.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison had not been informed of the facility prior to the press conference.

“It was a PR stunt yesterday – of course it was,” Neil said, pointing to a post to the Premier’s social media pages.

“It looks like a movie.”

“Why was the Chief Health Officer at the turning of a sod of a building of a quarantine facility?

“She’s got nothing better to do than be involved in a PR stunt for the government!

“She’s supposed to be independent. She is not independent.”
