The Prime Minister has released his annual Easter message as party leaders scale back their election campaigns for Good Friday.

Scott Morrison is in Melbourne, where he’ll attend a church service to commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

He and his wife, Jenny, are wishing all families a safe Easter period.

Labor leader Anthony Albanese will attend a series of events today, including an Orthodox mass in Sydney.
