A professor of paediatrics is warning Australians a Labor government will punish those who disagree with its gender policy.

Professor John Whitehall says the policy could see more children undergoing sex changes.

But he tells Alan Jones there will not only be sanctions for doctors who disagree, but also the media.

“They have promised to regulate broadcasts, they have promised to regulate doctors who may, by their approval, be involved with gender-confused children.

“There’s the issue of deregistration and punishment for doctors like myself who don’t go along with this ideology, and certainly, there would be punishment if I speak to you about it.

“This is the major ideological issue that is going to be imposed on the mums and dads of Australia whether they like it or not.”
