CFMEU workers staged protests across the country today, flooding the streets of Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.

Wage theft, sham contracting, insolvency, and demands for Labor to look after the working class during cost-of-living pressures, were among the many reasons for the rage-fueled rally today in Brisbane.

The Chief Executive of Queensland Master Builders, Paul Bidwell, told Bill McDonald that he believes “they’re important issues that need to be addressed”.

“The Union movement is unhappy with what the Fair Work Ombudsmen has done”, Mr Bidwell said.

The Chief Executive also highlighted how hard the building industry has been hit recently with events beyond the builder’s scope and capability to foresee.
