Queensland’s small businesses have been let down
A Gold Coast marina has been sold to developers, leaving small businesses with nowhere to go.
Last year, Mariner’s Cove was sold to Melbourne developers, and business evictions were scheduled to occur around Easter, but have been pushed back due to council approval.
Amidst this, Gold Coast business owners are calling to the government to assist them in relocating their small businesses.
Owner of Paradise Boating, Tony Johnson, told Peter Gleeson on 4BC Drive, “Because of the lack of planning and foresight by the State Government there is no where else for us to go…”
