Ray Hadley unleashes on ‘vile’ Wanderers fans

“If it means we don’t have the RBB anymore, well, bugger the RBB.”

The vile behaviour of Western Sydney Wanderers fans in the Red and Black Bloc (RBB) has continued and Ray Hadley isn’t having a bar of it.

On the weekend, two flares were set off at Allianz Stadium during a match between Sydney FC and the Western Sydney Wanderers.

This incident isn’t isolated, with fans in the RBB engaging in offensive behaviour since the club’s inception into the A League in 2012.

“I mean, what have these people got to do? To get either the FFA, who does sweet FA, or the Western Sydney Wanderers off their backsides and doing something,” Ray says.

“I was dismayed to read an opinion piece on air by the Fox Sports commentator Simon Hill who claimed on that date, and I hope he hangs his head in shame today, that claims of football hooliganism in Australia is a myth.

“The coppers have had a gutful. I’d imagine Mick Fuller, the commissioner, has had a gutful and so have decent supporters of the game of soccer.

“If it means we don’t have the RBB anymore, well, bugger the RBB.”
