Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull says he had no knowledge of Vikki Campion and Barnaby Joyce’s relationship when making decisions to move her into different roles within parliament.

Chris Smith speaks to All-Star Rowan Dean.

“Private lives should be private. I don’t share the moral outrage.

“People do fall in love with different people. That’s not really the issue.”

He tells Chris creating roles for Ms Campion is ‘absolutely unacceptable’.

“When we get into the territory of was a job created for Vikki Campion using taxpayers money. That is absolutely unacceptable.”

“The idea that not only one job, but two jobs, were created for her…. you can’t have people using public funds to go around creating fictitious jobs.”
