On Sunday night, Wally Lewis revealed his ongoing battle with CTE, and now he shares more insights with Peter Psaltis. 

Rugby League Immortal, Wally Lewis, told Peter Psaltis on Wide World of Sports, “It’s hard to call on people to understand the difficulty at hand and the embarrassment that is attached to it [CTE].”

“So there is no real acceptance of the issues I have at hand at the moment, but there can be no denial, so you just have to make sure you go ahead and try and continue life as normally as possible…”

“But again…I’ve got to say it’s the game that proved to be the greatest challenge of my life but also the greatest thrill of my life and I would not change a damn thing,” Mr. Lewis continued.
