4BC Drive host Scott Emerson has slammed Annastacia Palaszczuk’s strategy in dealing with the integrity issues swirling around the State Government.

“This is a four-part strategy, and it was probably cooked up by her 30 spin doctors. They’ve coached her on what to do,” he said.

Emerson said we continue to see this on display at the ‘fiery’ and ‘combative’ media conferences.

“The first part of it is the premier claims that Queenslanders know and trust her,” he said.

“Of course, that’s also the standard line from nearly every pollie who’s been under pressure over integrity and corruption issues since day dot.” 

“The second part of the strategy is to attack the former LNP government.”

“The third part of the strategy is to claim that as an issue has been referred to the CCC, she is banned from answering any questions.”

“The fourth part is when the journalist dares to keep probing… well, the Premier goes on the attack accusing the journalist of going around in circles.”
