A search will resume today for missing judge Guy Andrew who has been missing since Sunday.

Police say the Federal Circuit Court Judge left his home in north Brisbane on Sunday morning and drove in the direction of Mount Coot-tha where he regularly walks.

His car was found abandoned at Dillon Road, The Gap.

A ground search was underway on Monday in Mount Coot-Tha.

Authorities and his family hold concerns for his welfare.
