Severe storms hitting parts of south-east Queensland
A severe thunderstorm warning is current for Ipswich, Brisbane and Logan, bringing damaging winds and large hailstones.
The cell is tracking east from the Lockyer Valley.
Authorities are pleading with drivers to be careful on the roads.
Last night a woman died after her car was swept away by floodwaters in Pullenvale, in Brisbane’s south-west.
Sadly she’s Queensland’s third flood tragedy in as many weeks.
