‘Shameful’: 88-year-old too frightened to go home after home break-in

Neil Breen has detailed a frightening incident involving an elderly woman, just days after her husband died.
Last night, Neil says offenders allegedly broke into the 88-year-old woman’s house in Yeronga to steal her car keys, before making off with her car.
She lost her husband on Saturday.
“She was very distressed, and she is now too scared to live in the house that she lived in with her husband for years and years.”
Neil says it’s a “sad state of affairs” in Queensland and it’s shameful.
