Shane Flanagan calls on Tim Sheens to step up

Shane Flanagan has called on incoming Wests Tigers coach Tim Sheens to step up and guide the club through to the end of the season.
The premiership-winning coach and 2GB & 4BC Continuous Call Team commentator’s comments come after the Tigers’ 72-6 humiliation at the hands of the Sydney Roosters – the worst loss in the joint venture’s history.
“If I was him (Sheens), I could not let what’s happening to the team happen. I would have to step in and help them,” said Flanagan.
“Just to sit back and say ‘I’m going to start next year’ – I don’t get it. I think he should come in and help.”
