There have been mixed reactions to Prince Harry’s press tour ahead of his memoir hitting shelves today.

The Duke of Sussex used the American leg of his PR blitz to again criticise his step-mother and brother.

In his latest interview on US breakfast television, he said the family’s falling out would have saddened Princess Diana but his departure did not come as a shock to Queen Elizabeth.

While he rallied against attitudes toward his wife, Meghan, he did not accuse the firm of being racist.

UK correspondent Adam Gilchrist told Luke Bradnam on 4BC Summer Mornings that only around 4 million people in the UK tuned in to watch.

“He was beaten, his interview, by two other channels showing different programs,” he said.

“He might not be as engaging, certainly, with a number of people in the UK. I suspect under-30s are a bit more on his side than over-30s.”
