SES crews have had a busy night responding to hundreds of calls for help across the state.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services Assistant Commissioner Stephen Smith told Neil Breen they responded to 320 calls for help in the last 24 hours.

“They’ve been for a mix of calls, from flooding to trees down, tree damage.

“If you don’t need to be out and about, please don’t be.

“If you do need to be out, and if you do come across water across roads or other hazards, please avoid them because it only puts yourself at risk and our crews, ultimately.”
