Former Australian Test cricketer Mike Hussey praised the improvement of Mitchell Swepson during Wednesday night’s BBL coverage.

The 24-year-old legspinner was added to the test squad for last year’s two-test series against Bangladesh but failed to make his debut.

Huss told Macquarie Cricket that Swepson is “developing nicely” as another Test call-up in the future beckons.

“Every year he seems to come back (for Brisbane Heat) and play a little more confidently,” he said during Brisbane Heat’s clash against Hobart Hurricanes.
