A teenager is fighting for life after a fiery single-car crash west of Ipswich yesterday.

Police say two 15-year-old boys and a 17-year-old girl attempted to overtake a truck at the intersection of Brightview District Road and Brightview Road in a stolen Mazda CX-9.

The car slammed into a pole and caught fire.

9News reporter Andrea Crothers told Laurel, Gary & Mark farmers rescued the girl, who was stuck inside the vehicle.

“The two teen boys, they were flung from the vehicle,” she said.

One of the boys remains at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a critical condition this morning, while the conditions of the other two children have improved.
