A 4BC listener has been duped out of more than $26,000 after falling victim to what Bill McDonald says is “the most sophisticated scam” he’s ever heard of. 

“I think a lot of the time when we hear of someone who got scammed, we think of people who aren’t really tech savvy or maybe a little too trusting,” Bill said.

“But this story just goes to show it can really happen to anyone.”
