Around two million Ukrainians have crossed the border since Russia launched its invasion.

A humanitarian corridor has reopened to evacuate civilians from Mariupol, which suffered days on intense shelling.

World Vision Australia CEO Daniel Wordsworth is on the border of Ukraine and Romania.

He told Neil Breen World Vision is helping neighbouring countries prepare for a massive movement of refugees.

“I can’t imagine what is going on inside of Ukraine,” he said. “People are just, they’re just trying to look after their families, wherever they are.

“The numbers are jumping so much and so much destruction, so much systemic destruction is going on.

“I’m just worried about the impact on kids, the impact on families.”
