The moment Usain Bolt doubted his retirement, ‘I wasn’t happy’
This year, the world’s fastest man attended the Commonwealth Games not as an athlete, but as a guest.
He reveals to Ross Greenwood the one moment which made him second-guess his retirement.
Did I retire too soon? Hmmm

Watching the Jamaican team lose to England and South Africa in the 4 x 100m relay, Usain says he “wasn’t happy.”
“I think watching them, especially in the sprints because we always dominate the sprints, and not see them dominate… I wasn’t happy.
“[Being] retired did cross my mind.”
Watching the relay just now made me ask myself a few questions. Anyhow #TeamJamaica all day everyday #GoldCoast2018 #CommonwealthGames

As much as Usain wished he was back on the track, he says it’s time for him to move on and focus on “new challenges”.

And what do those challenges entail?
Well, hot sauce for one.
Usain has teamed up with Coles to release a range of hot sauces.
“I’ve always wanted my own hot sauce.
“I want a new challenge. For me, it was a no-brainer,” he says.
The new product launches this week and they’re set to fly off the shelves faster than the great man can run.
