Pharmacies are taking the lead on solving “market failure” over rapid antigen supply by developing a stock database. 

From next week, anyone who needs a test will be able to find stores with stock and check their prices at findapharmacy.com.au.

Queensland President of the Pharmacy Guild of Australia Trent Twomey told Sofie Formica it’ll provide the public with “a single source of truth”.

“We’re not just competing on price now on a global market, we’re not just competing on price in a domestic market, we’ve got rationing.

“It’s almost like a wartime thing, where we’re rationing bread and milk or flour!”
