The Palaszczuk Government’s youth crime crackdown is failing
The Palaszczuk Government say they’re toughening up on youth crime but the statistics are proving otherwise.
The Courier Mail reported new breach of bail figures that demonstrate the new youth crime legislation is doing little to deter young offenders.
The Department of Youth and Justice didn’t answer questions about whether it had evidence the breach of bail law was working.
Instead, the department insinuated the law was brought in because of ‘community concern.’
