The weird, wonderful animals spotted in Brisbane neighbourhoods
A flock of wild peacocks have been relocated after making a Bardon street their home for decades.
The birds have been living near Outlook Crescent, which backs onto the Mt Coot-ha nature reserve, for around 40 years.
But following a number of complaints from residents, Brisbane City Council ordered their removal.
The story got Laurel, Gary & Mark thinking about the strange animals making Brisbane home.
“Wasn’t there that old saying that there was a zoo in Brisbane but they just let the animals go?” Mark asked.
