A flock of wild peacocks have been relocated after making a Bardon street their home for decades. 

The birds have been living near Outlook Crescent, which backs onto the Mt Coot-ha nature reserve, for around 40 years.

But following a number of complaints from residents, Brisbane City Council ordered their removal.

The story got Laurel, Gary & Mark thinking about the strange animals making Brisbane home.

“Wasn’t there that old saying that there was a zoo in Brisbane but they just let the animals go?” Mark asked.
