‘They’ve got nothing’: Local truckers launch in to help Lismore recovery
The owner of a Lytton transport business is using his freight services to help flood victims in northern New South Wales.
DNV Transport’s David Carswell has been been taking truckloads of supplies down to Lismore.
He told Neil Breen he’d be keen for as many people as possible to join the clean-up efforts down south.
“We’re getting donations from other customers and staff and just putting together some essentials for all the people down there.
“Food, bedding, mattresses, these people basically need to start from the ground up, mate.
“They’ve got nothing.”
