A new exhibition will open at the Queensland Museum today, bringing together the latest palaeontological
discoveries from the Southern Hemisphere in Brisbane.

CEO of the Queensland Museum Network, Dr Jim Thompson, says the Dinosaurs of Patagonia is a thrilling exhibition.

“Patagonia was once a neighbour of us, when we were all in the great land of Gondwana more than 100 million years ago,” he told Laurel, Gary & Mark.

“Their dinosaurs and our dinosaurs were basically neighbours, so we thought it was a great opportunity to compare dinosaurs from the Southern Hemisphere of the world.”
