A local Queensland cricket club has been robbed by a group of thieves overnight. 

Shawn Riddell, Secretary of the Helensvale Pacific Pines Cricket Club, spoke to Neil Breen about the incident.

“They seem to have taken a car for a joyride through our fence,” he said

The burglars proceeded to break into the clubhouse, where they stole smart tablets, cash and alcohol.

CCTV was captured, as has been passed onto the police.
