Todd Woodbridge reflects on health scare, issues warning to fellow Aussies
Todd Woodbridge has issued a warning to Australians to keep on top of their heart health after the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Wide World of Sports tennis commentator suffered a mild heart attack 12 days ago.
“What happened to me was a lot to do with hereditary genetics, as it turned out, I had really bad cholesterol, which I knew was in the family and I hadn’t done enough about keeping on top of it,” he told Peter Psaltis on Wide World of Sports.
“I think that’s the message I want to spruik to everybody, is that, it’s not necessarily what you look like on the outside it’s how the insides are going, and what your family history is.
“Be sure to check on that.”
He said he has shaken a couple to get a check up, after his scare.
