It’s not yet known the damage bill to the train network in Queensland, as authorities work to get more services back on line.

Acting CEO of Queensland Rail, Scott Reidel, said essentially it’s a Saturday-style timetable.

He said the damage to the network runs almost the entire south-east, from south of Gympie through to Beenleigh.

“We do have a register [all the damage done] we don’t have the full cost coming in yet as we do our repair.”
