Two charged after discovery of human remains at Glass House Mountains
Two people have been charged following the discovery of human remains at the Glass House Mountains earlier this week.
It’s believed the remains are those of 57-year-old Caboolture woman Donna Howe, who was last seen by family in late April.
Police executed a search warrant at a Balkee Drive, Caboolture address yesterday and have since charged a 41-year-old man and 31-year-old man with one count each of murder and misconduct with a corpse.
Police will allege both the accused were known to the victim.
They will appear at Caboolture Magistrates Court today.
The grim discovery of the remains was made by two men four-wheel-driving in a remote forestry track around midday on June 7.
Forensic testing is underway to confirm the identity.
