The ibis could be considered as a potential mascot for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games. 

Queensland Sports Minister Stirling Hinchliffe put the option forward, yesterday declaring he has a “soft touch” for the iconic bird.

Neil Breen says while Mr Hinchliffe was obviously “geeing up”, Brisbane can definitely do better.
