Peter Psaltis says the Australian cricket team are on the nose when it comes to the Australian public.

It comes after Australia was knocked out of the T20 World Cup.

Psalty says players are kept at arm’s length from fans.

“They are unrelatable at the moment, this team,” he said on Wide World of Sports.

“You used to be able to relate to the Australian cricket team, and cheer them on and get to know them as personalities, you can’t now.

“They are kept at arm’s length from fans and I think that’s a bad thing.”

He said Glenn Maxwell saying that the loss shouldn’t be dwelled upon was “not good enough”.
