The older brother of Test cricketer Usman Khawaja has been charged with breaching bail and attempting to influence a witness.

Arsalan Khawaja was first charged earlier this month, accused of framing a colleague over a fake terror plot.

He was granted strict conditional bail in a court appearance on December 4.

But on Thursday, officers arrested the 39-year-old at his Westmead home in Sydney’s west and later charged him with breaching bail and influencing a witness in judicial proceedings.

Arsalan Khawaja has appeared in Parramatta Bail Court and has had his bail revoked.
