Vivian Lobo will still appear on ballot papers amid AFP investigation
An LNP candidate will still appear on the ballot papers for Lilley, despite being investigated by the AFP.
The Australian Electoral Commission has referred Vivian Lobo to the federal police over allegations he lied about his residential address.
Labor claims Mr Lobo doesn’t live at his registered address in Everton Park but a house outside the seat of Lilley.
Australian Electoral Commission officer Stephanie Attard told Neil Breen investigations into the allegations are ongoing.
“Mr Lobo has been nominated for the Division of Lilley and he’s formally declared and is on the ballot papers and will continue to be there.
“That doesn’t change.”
