A Perth man is being hailed a hero after confronting a woman who tossed her cigarette butt out of her car window, and it was all caught on video.

The footage posted to Facebook (see the below), garnered 3000 likes in just 20 minutes.

Magnus Hand uploaded the footage saying he “kindly returned” the woman’s discarded cigarette butt.

“So I was at the lights and this poor lady’s cigarette accidentally fell out of her hand onto the road,” he wrote in the post.

“Being the gentleman I am, I got out picked up the cig and kindly returned it to her.”
