‘What dreams are made of’: Psalty’s well-wishes for Ash Barty amid retirement
World number one Ash Barty has announced her retirement from professional, prompting an outpouring of well wishes and tributes for the tennis champion.
Wide World of Sports host Peter Psaltis says it has been a privilege to watch her play, and go about her business winning 15 singles titles, three grand slam singles titles.
He says it is a career is what dreams are made of.
“The end of a magnificent career today,” he said.
“What I’ve got to say, can be summed up in one sentence.”
He says she has always “run her own race”.
