‘Where would we put 63 timpanis?!’: Jazz royalty James Morrison reflects on his biggest achievements

James Morrison is known as Australia’s genius of jazz, and for good reason.
With a career spanning 40 years, James has done it all – from performing for royalty to the 2000 Sydney Olympics opening fanfare.
The multi-award winning instrumentalist joined John Stanley on Nights to recount his experiences on stage and beyond, including how he managed to set a Guinness World Record for conducting the biggest orchestra.
Now, in an Australian first, James and his quartet will be performing a set of concerts at The Great Synagogue in Sydney this September.
