Why a QLD driver was stung with a huge $5000 traffic fine
A Queensland woman has vented on social media about a little-known traffic fine she copped for wearing her seatbelt incorrectly in a company car.
The driver was caught by one of the state’s new covert, high-tech cameras with her seatbelt under her arm.
The offence normally attracts $1078 and four demerit points.
But she was fined $5390 because it was a company car.
