Why an explosive internal review has left the Eels ‘furious’
An explosive internal review has found bombshell reports that the Parramatta Eels are suffering from nepotism.
This couldn’t come at a worse time for the club as they prepare for their semi-final clash tonight against the Raiders.
Fox League reporter James Hooper revealed that the review conducted by ex-Warriors coach Nathan Brown showed there is “nepotism in the appointment of staff and players”.
James Hooper then spoke to Eels coach Brad Arthur, who is now “furious” about the timing of the leaks.
Mr Hooper told Ray Hadley he was “surprised” to see the findings in the report and is predicting the ordeal will “escalate”.
“The bosses at Fox Sports wanted us to take a look at what was going on at Parramatta … and for this report to rear its head now, it’s the worst possible timing,” he said.
Ray Hadley also revealed that Eels forward Nathan Brown was left out of tonight’s game after questioning the coach’s selection decisions.
“You can’t have little cliques here and there – it doesn’t work,” Ray said.
