Why Reba McEntire gets ‘the biggest kick’ out of millennials
Reba McEntire has admitted she still enjoys being recognised for her character in The Little Rascals.
Speaking to Reba, Ray Hadley revealed his younger colleagues identified the iconic country singer for her 1994 role, before her music.
Ray Hadley: “The young ones, when I had to explain to them … she’s an acclaimed actor, but this woman is also a famous country music artist, they said: ‘Oh yes, but she’s still A. J. Ferguson’.
“So obviously you’ve had an impact on a whole range of people who didn’t know about country music!”
Reba McEntire: “That is so funny that that generation that watched Little Rascals the movie see me as A. J. Ferguson instead of Reba the Actress or Reba the Singer.
“I get the biggest kick out of it!”
