UFO sightings under investigation by the US government have more than tripled in the last year.

A report released by the Director of National Intelligence revealed 510 cases are being examined.

While many turn out to have “unremarkable” explanations like balloons and drones, others have not been explained.

Astrophysicist Brad Tucker told Laurel, Gary & Mark quite a few of the reports were historical.

“It’s built a culture, which is actually one of the goals they were hoping for, which I think is very good, of people wanting to come forward,” he said.
