Why the option to work from home is here to stay, for now
Since the COVID-19 pandemic forced workers around the globe to work from home, it’s triggered an evolution for workplaces.
Recent Property Council of Australia figures show only one in five workers in Melbourne’s CBD are back in their office buildings on a Monday and a Friday.
Kaylene O’Brien, Capgemini’s managing director in Australia and New Zealand, says the pandemic accelerated the trend of more flexible work arrangements.
“The research and the client contact we are having is completely in agreement with you … that this is a trend that is here to stay and the imperative for organisations is to be able to support their workforce to be able to work anywhere, anytime,” she told Brooke Corte on Money News.
