This murder story puts Agatha Christie to shame.

70-year-old Paddy Moriarty went missing on December 16 last year after a few beers at the local pub in Larrimah, southeast of Darwin.

And in a town of just 12 people, everyone’s a suspect.

Lost in Larrimah, a podcast released by The Australian and co-written and co-produced by Kylie Stevenson, follows the investigation into Paddy’s disappearance.

Speaking with Alan Jones, Kylie says it’s an “amazing outback story”.

Even more peculiar, police found Paddy’s dinner ready on the table, adding more mystery to already unusual circumstances.
