Work to give Everton Park Library long-awaited facelift begins
Early works have begun on a major transformation for Everton Park Library that will see floor space doubled.
The construction will add an undercover carpark, multi-purpose and study spaces, a computer lounge and children’s space.
The current building will be demolished when works are completed to make way for a turfed park and pathway connection t Fallon Park.
It comes after customer research revealed the need for increased parking, accessibility improvements and a better use of the space.
The library, which services around 35,000 people, hasn’t received a major update for almost three decades.
