Yellow Diamond Foundation: Support a cause that hits one person every five hours
Brain cancer kills more children than any other disease, with one person diagnosed every five hours.
The Yellow Diamond Foundation was set up by two friends affected by brain cancer and its aim is to raise funds to put towards brain cancer research.
John Blair from the organisation tells Deborah Knight the researchers rely on grants, so when their grants run out, so does their research.
“We never know how close to being on the cusp of a breakthrough they’re going to be if that research falls over.”
