A Queensland dad has helped deliver his own daughter after calling for an ambulance when his partner went into labour.

In audio of his emergency triple-zero call, young father Reuben can be heard calmly delivering his second child before paramedics arrive.

The triple-zero operator explains he will need to take control while they wait for paramedics to arrive.
